Easter workshop 2

AN EASTER GARDEN WORKSHOP

was held on

Thursday March 28th 9:30 – 12:00

For 5 – 11 year olds.

The children were invited to make their own Easter garden and enjoy other Easter activities.

This was a splendid morning when 26 children, their parents or carers were busily engaged in lots of fun activities.

The children made Easter egg shaped name tags (so that the leaders knew who was who!); enjoyed an Easter story Treasure Hunt and then divided into groups to make Easter cards; Easter gardens; chocolate nests and decorated Easter polystyrene eggs.

After refreshments they joined in action songs and everyone had a wonderful time.

The morning flew by and at 12 o’clock everyone went home laden with the goodies they had made and with the Easter story foremost in their minds.

There were some lovely words of thanks from the parents for inviting them to the morning’s workshop and lots of requests for repeat sessions in the future.
