NATIVITY EXHIBITION
Tuesday December 10th –Saturday December 14th
Our Nativity Exhibition was featured on Central News on Thursday Dec. 12th.
Our Nativity Exhibition is now taking place so do come along and invite your friends! Although some of the exhibits are the same as last year, we have several more this year. The Revd. Stuart Jennings has lent us his collection; the Revd. Rachel Burgess has again loaned the Nativity Sets belonging to her mother; Marjorie and John have an ever-growing number (over 100 at present) that they have collected and church friends have brought their individual sets along.
This is an excellent way of inviting the community into the church and encouraging them to think of the true meaning of Christmas.
In 2014 it is planned to loan some of the exhibits to churches in other towns so that similar events can be held in different areas, so do make sure that you come to Radford Road this year to see these lovely nativity models.
The exhibition is open to the public each afternoon from 2.00pm until 4.00pm, school groups are coming on Friday and uniformed organisations are visiting in the evenings.
The Friendship Circle hosted the teas on Dec. 10thand church members are serving teas, coffees and light refreshments on the other days.
