GOGLOBAL ARTS CHALLENGE SAT 21ST FEBRUARY
12 Brownies and 2 leaders enjoyed a full day (7.30am till 7.15pm) taking part in the GoGlobal challenge – an arts festival for Guides from all over the Midlands. It was certainly a challenge for those of us not especially good at the arts!
The venue was the Newark Showground, where we were challenged with 4 activities during the day. We made mouse rockets and lava lamps, enjoyed dancing, a quiz based on world centres and made music. The music leader this was fantastic and taught us to play drums and percussion instruments using common phrases. Watch out Radford Road there may be a budding music group in the making!!

Singing Dancing

The dance group signed autographs for the Brownies
.
The closing ceremony was spectacular with lights and smoke adding to the effects. Everyone enjoyed the singing at the end led by Katie Perry!
The girls who must have sung themselves hoarse as there was no sound from them on the return journey.
