Nativity Exhibition 2019

The Nativity Exhibition was first displayed at Radford Road Church in 2012 and then again in 2013, and since then, more exhibits have been acquired. The Exhibition has been taken around the country during Advent each year and has been seen by hundreds of people. We hope that in looking at the exhibits people have thought about the Christmas message and realised a little more about the true meaning of Christmas.

The 120 models come from many different countries and are made of many different materials. There are tin ones from Mexico; models made from banana fibre from Kenya; rolled paper models from Sri Lanka; hand made pottery models from Peru; olive wood models made in Bethlehem….and many, many more from all around the world. At our Exhibition at Radford Road there is also a table where members of the congregation can put their own cribs on display.

The exhibition is at Radford Road Church each afternoon between 2.00pm and 4.00pm from Tuesday Dec 3rd until Saturday December 7th and school parties have been invited to visit during the mornings. The following week the exhibition moves to Abbey Hill United Reformed Church at Kenilworth.

The exhibition is free but there is an opportunity to make a donation by those who wish to do so. This money will be shared between Radford Road Church and this year’s Mission Project “Rehoboth Children’s Centre in the Philippines”.
