On May 19th, after we had enjoyed a hearty Big Breakfast, many people stayed to watch Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make their wedding vows in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor. The sun shone brilliantly, the crowds waved flags and sang, the guests were dressed up to the nines and everyone had a smile on their face.
The Rt. Revd. David Conner, Dean of Windsor, conducted the service , The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd. Justin Welby, married the Prince and Ms Markle and the Most Reverend Michael Curry, the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, a US branch of the Church of England, gave the address.
Those watching on the television screen at Radford Road Church thoroughly enjoyed being able to watch this wonderful ceremony with their church friends and they toasted the happy couple, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with glasses of non-alcoholic bubbly.
